Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee of International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) 2020 Daejeon, Korea is pleased to invite authors to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations, to be delivered under the theme ‘IUMS 2020 for Harmonious Diversity’. The abstracts under the following topics are welcome.

The congress will revolve around the sub-themes related to the field of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, Mycology and Eukaryotic Microbiology and Virology and will feature prominent experts presenting upon critical issues.

Submission Guidelines

  • 1. All abstracts must be submitted via the congress website ( ONLY. Abstracts sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
  • 2. All abstracts should be written in English.
  • 3. It is the responsibility of the presenting author and the submitter to review the submission status & information and correct them. Submitters are responsible for any typing error in the abstract.
  • 4. The abstracts should be limited to 300 words.
  • 5. Acknowledgment of submission will not be received upon completing the abstract submission through the website. You can check your status in the ‘Abstract Submission’ section of/ under ‘MY PAGE’.
  • 6. Acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be notified by email within a month of the submission closing date. / Submitting authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection of abstracts by email within a month of the submission closing date.
