Daejeon Metropolitan City Tour

TP-1 Year of visit to Daejeon Theme (All Day)

ITINERARY Depart from DCC - Art trip with Lee Eung-no - National Science Museum - Hanbat Arboretum
- Acorn Jelly Making Experience - Gapcheon Stream Firefly Habitat - Arrive at DCC

DESCRIPTION 2019 ~ 2021 is a year of visiting Daejeon, which combines Daejeon's cultural, scientific trends, ecology and activities.
Starting with the art tour with Lee Eung-no, a tour of the art museum that combines walking and culture interpretation, you will experience the latest science and technology at National Museum of Science and healing in the city center at the Hanbat Arboretum(the largest arboretum in the central region).
The tour ends with an autumn night firefly feast.

DESCRIPTION Daejeon Science Festival is a science and culture festival held in Daejeon, the city of science and technology. Leading research centers funded by the government, universities, and companies specializing in cutting-edge technology located in the Daedeok R&D Special District participate in the festival to exhibit science and technology related contents, helping the people of Korea to understand the importance of science and children to develop an interest in science. With the theme of ‘Life Science’ the festival helps visitors to understand and experience science and technology in everyday life, allowing them to think about the importance of science in creating a better world.

Gongju-Buyeo Tourism Program

TP-3 UNESCO World Heritage Theme (All Day)

ITINERARY Depart from DCC - Arrive at Gongju - Tomb of King Muryeong and major tourist attractions – Move to Buyeo – Busosanseong and major tourist attractions - Arrive at DCC

DESCRIPTION Experience tourist attractions with history in Gongju and Buyeo, 'a world heritage tourist city'.
Gongju (Woongjin) and Buyeo (Sabiseong), the capitals of Baekje in the Three Kingdoms era, retain the remains and heritage of the Baekje era.
The popular Tomb of King Muryeong is the 7th tomb, and it is the resting place for Baekje's 25th King Mu-Ryeong and his queen. Tomb of King Muryeong was found to be unusual in the way it was built and what it contained. Many national treasures were found inside, supplying scholars studying Baekje culture with precious research material. Busosanseong Fortress was located at a rear side of the royal palace. It served as a rear garden during normal times and was used as a defensive structure in the case of an emergency.

Jeonju Tourism Program

DESCRIPTION

Located in the southwestern part of Korea, Jeonju Hanok Village consists of 800 well-preserved honoks(traditional Korean house), which create a traditional Korean atmosphere that is hard to find nowadays. join the tour to find yourself fully immersed in the exquisite history of Korea amid beautiful hanoks, little artisan shops, and aesthetic restaurants and teahouse. At Jeonju Hanok Village, visitors can enjoy traditional Korean life and traditional foods like bibimbap, the most well-known dish from the Jeonju region.
